We provide safe, progressive, fun swimming lessons to children of all ages.
We work in partnership with Scottish Swimming and the International School, Aberdeen.
On completion, move to Aberdeen Amateur Swimming Club, Fitness training, Water Polo or Lifesaving.

We love swimming
Aberdeen LTS is linked to Aberdeen Amateur Swimming Club, providing a pathway through from non-swimmers to international level swimmers. Swimmers can join when they are 4 years old and there are swimmers in Masters who are old enough to be grandparents! Swimming is fun and swimming is for all! We follow the Scottish Swimming Framework and swimmers move through the 6 levels of the LTS scheme seamlessly, as they achieve the skills required at each level.
Our swimmers benefit from:

- Easy payment process through an app
- Open communication with the Head Teacher
- Exceedingly low cancellation rate, only due to extreme weather or pool issues
- Inclusive environment where support is given to swimmers with disabilities and special needs.

What happens After Swim Skills 4 & Club ready
If being promoted from SS4:
- - Swimming in A Squad
Training starts with 2 out of 3 sessions a week, Friday 5.45-6.45pm, Saturday 3.00-4.00pm (ASV) and Sunday 3.00-4.00pm (ASV).

- - Remain in LTS and move up to Club Ready
- Swimmers have the option to continue once a week, Tuesday 4.30-5.30pm, Wednesday 5.15-6.15pm, Saturday 3.00-4.00pm or 4.00-5.00pm or Sunday 12.20-1.20pm

- -Remain in Swim Skills 4 until end of term
- Nothing changes
If being promoted from Club Ready:
- - Competitive Swimming in A Squad

Children's University Scotland
We are pleased to let you know that we have now been added to an online portal, Aspire. This means children who are involved in Children’s University in and around Aberdeen will now be able to find your activity when they search on Aspire. Aberdeen LTS is delighted to introduce our new Inclusion scheme. As a Learn to Swim Scheme, want to be proactive and ensure we build a friendly and welcoming environment for all children. If you have a child with a physical disability or if you have a child who requires assistance when learning, Email us and we will arrange a meeting with the teachers involved, who will explain the pathway available.
